RideScore program expands to three new schools

Council is excited to announce that three additional primary schools will join the region’s successful RideScore program in 2026:

  • Currimundi State School
  • Golden Beach State School
  • Pacific Paradise State School

Their inclusion brings the total number of participating schools across the Sunshine Coast to 14, continuing the growth of this nationally recognised initiative that helps students build independence, confidence, and healthy travel habits by riding or scooting to school.

RideScore is proudly funded by the Sunshine Coast Council’s Transport Levy and supports Council’s commitment to promoting active, safe and sustainable travel for local families.

Council looks forward to working closely with these new school communities as the program rolls out in 2026.
